Q?

Will the boat move or is it stationary?

A.

The vessel will cruise for the duration of your party. We have 15 minute slots for embarking and disembarking passengers on the pier.

Q?

What pier does the boat use?

A.

There are a number of piers that you can choose to embark and disembark from depending on availability. Whatever pier you set out from, will be the pier you arrive back to, unless you book otherwise. The available piers are:

Millbank Pier, Westminster Pier, Embankment Pier, Festival Pier, Blackfriars Pier and Tower Pier. There are other piers that we use and these incur surcharges, these are: Cadogan Pier, Putney Pier, London Bridge City Pier, St Katherine’s Pier, Canary Wharf Pier, Greenwich Pier, North Greenwich Pier and Trinity Buoy Wharf Pier.

Q?

What route will the boat take?

A.

Which way the boat sails will be dependent on the tide on that particular day, but we can guarantee that you will cruise through London and see all the important sights!

Q?

Can we bring our own caterers/catering on board?

A.

We offer a great selection of food options for your party which we are happy to discuss with you. Alternatively, if you wish to bring your own catering there is a surcharge of £150.00 + VAT.

Q?

Can we come on early to decorate the boat and set up?

A.

Of Course! We allow you to come on board before the party to decorate and set up and make the party feel like your own. Alternatively, we can organise to have the boat decorated for you.

Q?

Are we allowed to have live music?

A.

We are more than happy for you to have live music and we have countless contacts in this area. Lets know what you require!

Q?

How long can I hire the boat for?

A.

You can hire the boat for as long as you wish from a minimum of 3 hours.

Q?

Do you have a DJ or can we bring our own?

A.

Absolute Party Cruises can provide our own resident DJ that plays a selection of popular and current chart music, popular genres and decades - dependent upon audience. If you are hiring the boat, you are welcome to bring your own DJ where there will be a charge for hire of our sound system. Please see Tech List Here.

Q?

What is the latest time our party can end?

A.

The MV Royalty is licenced until 1.00 am. We can apply for a Temporary Events Notice to extend this but due to noise pollution this is something that we do not encourage.

Are my friends allowed to come to my 18th boat party if they are still 17?

A.

We do allow 17 year olds to attend 18th birthday parties. All passengers will have their ID checked and anyone under the age of 18 will not be allowed to purchase or drink alcohol whilst on board. We also have a very strict bar policy when entertaining young adults

Q?

Do you allow under 18’s on board?

A.

We allow supervised minors on private charters.

Q?

Is the boat safe?

A.

Our vessel has a current Marine Coastguard Agency Passenger certificate and the Domestic Safety Management certificate, which are prominently displayed for information. This ensures that all Masters and crew members are trained and competent in all emergencies and first aid etc. Casual catering staff are also made aware of what to do in an emergency (safety brief).

All Vessels carry sufficient lifesaving apparatus for the maximum passengers carried, such as inflatable and float-free liferafts and lifejackets. A safety announcement is always made before every departure informing passengers of all emergency exits, liferaft boarding points, location of lifejackets etc.

Our vessels carry public liability insurance up to a figure of £100,000,000 and are insured through Knighthood Corporate Assurance Services plc. Feel free to view our most recent Certificate of Insurance.

Please also bear in mind that if you are coming on an evening party, it may be more sensible to leave the 4 inch heels at home!

Q?

Can I reserve a table?

A.

All party packages on the Thames have a limited number of chairs and tables to ensure a good party atmosphere. Any seating is on a shared basis and is non-reservable.
